Big Mama's House 2 Fundraiser Minutes

Friday 24^th, February 2006

The success of the Movie Night Fundraiser was due to the contributions made by the following Rotarians and Friends of Rotary:
- General Public that attended and supported the movie fundraiser
- Department of Education and Principal / Staff of Ona Glinton Primary School - Venue for the Movie
- Department of Economics and Planning (DEP) - LCD Projector
- President Joseph Swann - Sodas / Juices / Water / Ice
- Director Cherylann Jones - Chips / Microwaves / Movie
- Director Romaine Missick - Popcorn
- Rotarian Denise Saunders - Popcorn
- Rotarian Joydie Rankin - Chips / Cleaning
- Rotarian Charlene Higgs - Hotdogs / Buns
- Rotarian Rosabelle Adams - Hotdogs / Buns
- Rotarian Alexa Cooper-Grant - Candy
- Rotarian Donovan Matthews - Stereo Equipment
- Secretary Patrick Prince - Sodas / Juices / Water / Ice

In preparation for the Big Mama's House 2 Fundraiser, a few Rotarians met at the Ona Glinton Primary School to set up; they were (26%):

- Treasurer Mark McAulay
- Director Romaine Missick
- Rotarian Joydie Rankin
- Rotarian Donovan Matthews
- Rotarian Charlene Higgs

- Secretary Patrick Prince

For the actual event, Rotarians rallied around, played their part, and made it a success. The following 11 were in attendance, averaging 32% attendance percentage:

Excused absences were received from the following Rotarian(s):
- President Joseph Swann (is off island / out of the territory for the next 4 meetings)
- Vice President Patricia Saxton (paid door fee, although she could not attend, due to prior engagements)
- Sergeant-at-Arms Neil Saxton (paid door fee, although he could not attend, due to prior engagements)
- Rotarian Joydie Rankin
- Rotarian Donna Chapman

The funds collected were as follows:

                        Snack Bar = $191.25

          Total Fund Raised = $552.25

*Total donations was $80 - $66, spent on Sodas, Ice, Water, Juices
